PROJECT FOR UKRAINIAN CHILDREN IN NEED

Gas explosion in the new built and almost finished family house in Kiev

On January 4, 2009 a heavy gas explosion destroyed an almost finished family house in Kiev. A person died due to his grave injuries. The house has been so destroyed, that it was not clear if a repairing would be possible. kleine herzen and Caritas-Spes are very determined to accomplish this project, which means to complete the house and provide a home for more than 10 children until they are grown-up. In this house they want to offer care, emotional warmth, safety and a feeling of security.

A part from that, these children shall get an education starting from kindergarden up to secondary schools. Regarding the governmental crisis and the economic crisis, including inflation and rising poverty in this country, no governmental aid can be expected.

The money of Global Equity Partners-Group enabled the organisation to finish the electric and sanitary installations in this building. Because of that the house will be ready for occupancy in May 2010 for ten orphans and three caretakers. More infos >>
