Intelligent storage management system

SmApper, which was founded in Austria in 2005, has developed a technology for the intelligent management of unstructured data which is to date unique. Files in formats such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, mp3, etc. are managed optimally across the company, without the employees having to change their habits. This already patented technology impressed Global Equity Partners and in 2007 the company invested in SmApper.

The existing management has since worked with the Global Equity Partners investment team and Hasso Plattner Ventures, the fund of the SAP founder, on the further expansion of the growth company. The management is planning rapid growth for the next few years: on the one hand by expanding direct distribution, on the other hand by increasing the use of system integrators and independent software vendors.
