INODE impressed Global Equity Partners in 2004 with its market leadership in unbundled broadband services in Austria, its wide customer base and its high margins, which at the time enabled extreme growth with annual increases in sales of 100% and at the same time positive earnings. With Global Equity Partners as its finance partner INODE continued its impressive expansion strategy, expanding considerably its market position in the strongly growing internet broadband segment.

This development turned INODE into an interesting partner company for UPC Telekabel. Supported by the Global Equity Partners management team, which is well-known amongst experts for its technological expertise, a sale to UPC Telekabel was achieved very quickly.

The trade sale of INODE was the most successful exit in 2005 in the area of growth financing and was awarded silver at the Venture Capital & Private Equity Awards 2006.
