The company is among the global leaders in the manufacture of hearing aid batteries and other rechargeable and disposable batteries. End of 2007 Global Equity Partners sells VARTA Microbattery GmbH to Montana Tech Components AG.

VARTA Microbattery GmbH, a 100% daughter of Montana Tech Components AG, sees its future challenges in sales to Asia and the USA, the development of new products and applications, the optimization of internal processes as well as the raising of revenues through internal growth and strategic acquisitions.
